who we are
The Master in Big Data Analytics for Policy Evaluation builds on the experience and teaching staff of the MALED (Master in Applied Labour Economics for Development), a Master program jointly organized by University of Turin and ITC-ILO that prepared students and professionals to become experts in designing, analysing and evaluating policies.
After ten years of activity, we turned the Covid-19 stop into an opportunity to revise the MALED and transform it into the new BDA4PE, with the aim of widening its scope both in the topics and in the methodologies covered. Teaching innovations include a fully structured and assisted on-line preliminary learning phase, an enhanced importance of laboratory activities in presence, the possibility of a visiting period at an Italian or European institution to write the final research work.
This second edition of the Master in Big Data Analytics for Policy Evaluation follows the success of its inaugural year, which welcomed students from diverse backgrounds representing two continents and seven different nationalities. Building on the accomplishments of the previous cohort, the current program continues to foster a rich and globally inclusive learning environment.
